Our Staff

Aaron Spoonhour grew up in Lancaster Pennsylvania. He grew with an intense desire for life. As Aaron reached High School, God began to clearly move in his heart by placing a desire for ministry. However, at the time, all that Aaron knew was that he loved reading and learning from God's Word, thus making it his endeavor to attend a Bible School.   

Aaron attended Word of Life Bible Institute for two years and then finished with a bachelors degree in Pastoral Ministries from Lancaster Bible College. From there he moved back to the Adirondacks to work for Word of Life Bible Institute as a Discipleship Coordinator. During those three years, he developed further confirmation that God was training him to be a pastor through discipleship and counseling. After three years as a Discipleship Coordinator, he received the opportunity to pastor the First Baptist Church of Warrensburg. After confirmation from the Elders at his Church in Lancaster, Aaron gladly accepted the opportunity to pastor God's people in Warrensburg.   

After pastoring the First Baptist Church for a few years, Aaron was ordained as a Reverend through his sending Church of Calvary Bible Church in Mount Joy.

Besides preaching and pastoring, Aaron enjoys most recreational activities but especially hiking, biking, running, and hunting. Above all, he loves his wife and sons!
